IRS has announced that they will begin funding Path Act-delayed returns with refunds containing refundable credits next week, with the largest payout day being Wednesday, the 25th.

Direct deposits, check print authorizations, and prepaid card funding are estimated to begin funding on Wednesday 2/25 and could start to flow as early as Monday, 2/23.  All returns submitted from here forward, regardless of refundable credits on the return, should now process on a normal approximate 2-3 week timeframe.

For those offices that process returns using bank products, you may see some system slowdowns during peak times as we prioritize check printing during this busy period.  You may continue to submit bank product applications at any time, but you may experience a delay in response to advance decisions until the banks get through this scheduled high volume maintenance period.
