Federal Direct office hours will increase starting Wednesday, January 2nd.
Office hours will be 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 6pm on Saturdays beginning on Wednesday, January 2nd.
Starting on January 20th, office hours will extend again to 9 am to 9 pm on Mondays through Fridays and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays.
Fiscal Cliff Update
There is much confusion over the fiscal cliff quandary. Chances are that there is a grace period (like your bank may have) for a little extra time. This could grant the government to have a couple extra weeks to continue to work toward an agreement regarding the scheduled tax increases and spending cuts.
